Went to Kallang for dragon boating at the SDBA. Pretty fun larh. but then, didn't get pictures while we were dragon boating cause all the valuables were kept by the teacher. got pictures only after we were on dry land. quite fun larh, drenched by seawater, although we didn't fall into the water. our class was split into 2 teams, boat 1, and boat 2, cause each boat can only fit a limit of dunno how many people. I got into boat 1, with gladys, fiona, eileen and other guys and girls. Each time someone comes into the boat, the boat would shake, and we would scream. there were lots of algae in the water t that point, so, we were really grossed. then, we set off for the sea.. we were screaming and trying to keep our balance in the boat. if it overturned, it wouldn't really be nice. after a while, the boat stabilised and we got used to it. we were supposed to count while we row the boat.. we , the girls, were in front, and we did a great job counting. the boys, dragged the timing. so, they counted slower, and everything ended up in a mess. had our paddles hitting each other. Eileen had a cramp suddenly. LOLS. the sea water was damn salty seh!! got splashed by boat 2. we always got splashed by them more. YOU KNOW, SEA WATER STINGS OUR EYES!! then had a competition between the 2 boats. one of them was to see which boat would go a longer distance by rowing a number of 50 strokes, and the other was to see which boat would reach the bridge(our ending point) first. well ,, BOAT 1 WON BOTH OF THE COMPETITIONS!! but then, teacher say coz their boat got lesser ppl than us marh. well,, got pictures after dragon boating.
